Joe McGann has had a long and varied career with over 30 years in the business so far.

Joe will always be remembered by some people as Charlie Burrows, the lovable housekeeper in the long-running ITV sitcom ‘The Upper Hand’. He's obviously not lost any of his charm - after seeing him in Guys and Dolls in 2007, a female audience member was heard to comment, "He can come and do my washing any time!"

On stage he has played the lead roles in nationwide tours such as ‘Fiddler on The Roof’ and ‘Guys and Dolls’, starred in TV series ‘Night and Day’ and ‘Rockliffe’s Babies’ amongst others and appeared in films including ‘Business as Usual’ and ‘The Hanging Gale’, not to mention his several musical releases.
